SAVINGS
The Falcon Waterfree urinal is one of those rare products that save money and time while conserving natural resources. The savings for individual facilities can be significant, and the accumulative savings around the world is huge. Today, less than 1 percent of urinals are waterfree. If one out of four urinals is converted to waterfree, the savings would be 50 times greater than the number displayed on our homepage counter.
Saving Water
On average each Falcon Waterfree urinal saves 40,000 gallons (151,000 liters) or more of fresh water per year.
With over 350,000 Falcon Waterfree urinals throughout the globe, the water savings per year is over 1.4 billion gallons and increasing each year. This doesn't even include the leaks that typically occur with flush urinals. A small, steady leak can waste 60,000 gallons of water per year. Often these leaks go undetected in a flush urinal because the water is spread across the back of the bowl and is hard to see. A stuck flush valve on one urinal can waste 1,700 gallons per day! The only way to guarantee that there are no leaks and no wasted water is to replace flush or low flush urinals with waterless urinals.

Reducing Operating Costs
Because waterless urinals have no flush valves, sensors, or mechanical parts, there is no mechanical breakdown or maintenance.

In contrast, the action of water flushing through urinals adds maintenance because of hard mineral buildup on diaphragms that cause leaks, and hard buildups in bowls and drain pipes. Separately, the disposal of flush sensor batteries, a major environmental concern, is eliminated with waterless urinals.
Providing Cleaner Restrooms
Falcon Waterfree urinals create more hygienic restrooms for three reasons. To learn more about these benefits select here.

Reducing Greenhouse Gases
Water transport and treatment is an energy intensive process. Every gallon saved by using a waterless urinal conserves energy and the greenhouse gases associated with the creation of energy.
On average, every billion gallons of water saved avoids the generation of 18 million pounds of CO2 (Pacific Institute).
